“Geopark Festival”

The Geopark Festival is co-organised by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, Home Affairs Department, North District Council, Sai Kung District Council, Tai Po District Council and supported by some local conservation organisations to promote the appreciation and conservation of our natural landforms, heritage as well as geo-tourism.

During the Geopark Festival, a series of activities and geo-tourism promotion programmes will be held from 30 October 2010 to February 2011. It includes a Kick-off Ceremony and a funfair to be held at Tai Po Waterfront Park, papercutting exhibition, and papercutting workshops, photo contest and photography workshops, as well as the best geo-tour routes public polling.
