The Volcano Discovery Centre locate at Sai Kung Waterfront Park was opened. The 1 000-square-foot Centre established as a gateway of the Hong Kong Global Geopark of China to provide the visitors with the information related to the Geopark. It will also serve as a convenient starting point for visitors. The Volcano Discovery Centre introduces the landforms of Hong Kong as well as the history of Geopark. It also showcases the hexagonal exhibit in original size and rock specimens collected from the places around the world. It helps the visitors to learn about the story and information before they depart for a visit to the Geopark
