Hong Kong Geopark has been accepted by the Global Geoparks Network (GGN), an international organization supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), as her member. Hereafter, Hong Kong Geopark would be officially named “Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark."
